Dear LDHS/LDMS Choir Parents and Guardians,
Sending out another announcement/reminder about our final choir concert this year.
This is our annual pops concert that will celebrate our seniors and their accomplishments musically during their time in the Lead Deadwood Public Schools.
LDHS/LDMS Pops Concert
Monday, April 28th
6:30pm
LDHS Theater
Choir Members are to arrive at 6:00pm in the choir room.
After Concert Dessert:
After the concert, we will gather in the LDHS Cafeteria for desserts. The choir department will furnish paper goods, water and lemonade. We’re asking each family to bring a dessert to share. Bring your favorite and drop it off in the cafeteria before the concert. Cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, anything you’d like to contribute!
Dress Code:
High School: Nice jeans, shoes and choir t-shirts.
Middle School: Nice pants and a white shirt(no leggings, sweats, etc)
It can be a button up shirt, polo or nice t-shirt, but please have it be white so all can match. If this represents a financial hardship for you, please let me know right away so I can secure a white t-shirt for your child with school funds. It’s no problem for me to do this, but I need to know by this Friday.
Attendance Policy
As stated in the choir handbook and syllabus that everyone received at the beginning of the school year, attendance at our concerts is a huge part of a student’s grade for the semester. If a student has a prior school commitment or extreme illness or family emergency they can be given a makeup assignment to replace the 0 for missing the concert. Once the makeup assignment is turned it, the 0 will be replaced.
