Vision & Hearing Screenings
The Lions Club will conduct vision screenings on Friday, October 16th, and the South Dakota School for the Deaf will conduct hearing screenings on Monday, November 2nd.
Screenings will be done for students in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 11th grades.
If you do not want your child screened, please notify the school prior to the screening date.

Farm to Table with Culinary 1!
Our Culinary 1 students had an awesome opportunity to visit Bear Butte Gardens and see sustainability and farm-to-table cooking in action!
Students learned how the farm incorporates sustainability into its daily practices, including using compost and manure to naturally feed and enrich their organic gardens. ♻️🌱
The best part? We got to head into the gardens and harvest our own fresh vegetables to use for lunch! Students turned what they gathered into fresh salsa and tacos for a true farm-to-table meal. 🌶️
We finished the day with a quick lesson on food preservation and canning, and students even got to make candied jalapeños to take the experience one step further!
Such a great opportunity for our students to connect what we are learning in the Culinary 1 classroom sustainability, food sourcing, food preparation, and preservation-to the real world.
