SPORTS MEETING
There will be a Sports Meeting on August 3rd at 5:30pm in the Lead-Deadwood High School Auditorium. This meeting is for all students grade 6-12 who are interested in playing sports at the middle school or high school.

The Activities Department at LDHS & LDMS welcomes student to participate in the many activities offered. Our activities are essential to the educational process and aim to cultivate lifelong skills. We encourage our students to embody commitment, respect, strength, and resilience as they represent our school.
Monument Health offers free sports physicals for students in grades 6-12. Please schedule a physical with your primary care physician or call your local clinic or one of the Urgent Care locations. If a student does not have a physical, he/she will NOT BE ALLOWED TO PRACTICE.

The grand finale of the City of Lead’s 150th Anniversary Celebration will be the Echoes of Lead performance at 2:00 p.m. on July 5 in the Lead-Deadwood High School Auditorium. The City of Lead would like to personally invite all Lead-Deadwood students and their families to attend this special event and celebrate our community’s rich history. Admission is free, and we hope you’ll join us for this memorable conclusion to Lead’s sesquicentennial celebration.

LDHS Educators Rising held a signing ceremony for the two senior members pursuing a career in education. Janel Hess will be attending Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls for early childhood education and Aliyah Ryan will be attending Minnesota State Moorhead for elementary education. Their advisor is Mrs. Rhonda Britzman
